COVID-19 Vaccines for Long-term Care Residents
CDC recommends COVID-19 vaccines for residents of long-term care (LTC) ages 6 months and older, and boosters for everyone 5 years and older, if eligible.
COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective—especially against becoming seriously ill—and very important for older adults.
Older adults and people with these conditions are more likely to get very sick from COVID-19.
You can’t get COVID-19 from COVID-19 vaccines. Learn more about COVID-19 vaccine recommendations specifically for people who are moderately or severely immunocompromised.
